|
You should reduce the setting on the control dial by 1
increment.

If you find that there is not much humidity
|
In such a case, you can increase the setting on the
control dial by 1 increment.

If your Aprilaire humidifier is not working
|
In such a scenario, turn the dial to "Test/Reset." Make
sure that the furnace is operational in the heat mode. If unit still doesn't
work then you will have to consult a heating contractor or call up Aprilaire
customer service.

If you are unable to shut down your Aprilaire humidifier
|
In this case, slowly turn the dial "Off." If you find
the humidifier to be operating the consult a heating contractor or call
Aprilaire customer care.

Test mode
|
You can check system operation by setting the knob to
"Test/Reset." Make sure that the furnace blower is operating and the furnace
is signaling for heat. The Aprilaire humidifier will start operating within
one minute. Make sure that you turn the control knob back to its normal
setting after checking the humidifier operation.

Reset water panel change indicator
|
Start by turning the control knob to the "Test/Reset"
position until you find the "Change Water Panel" light blinking. You can
reset the water panel change indicator timer then. Remember that the blower
during this time should be operational and the furnace should be signaling
for heat. Make sure that you turn the control knob back to its normal setting
after resetting the timer.
